At SFDS, we are blessed to have students from all around the world who speak a variety of languages including  Spanish, French, Chinese, Vietnamese, Tigrinya, Amharic, and many others! To assist children starting in the school who do not speak English natively or fluently in learning the English language, we have multiple English as a second language teachers who work with our students. Pictured below is Sister James Anne who teaches small groups of ELL students several days a week. We also are blessed to have a fantastic ELL teacher funded through the Title I program, Mr. Flannagan, who is in the building five days a week.
