Students at Saint Francis de Sales in grades 2-8 have STEM classes twice a month in the lab! Our newest additions to the lab are pictured here. Two brand new robotic arms from Elephant Robotics. They were named after two members of our beloved maintenance team, Coach D and Mr. Bob by a school-wide popular vote in 2023. Students can manipulate the robotic arms using coding programs they are learning to use in STEM class.

Behind Coach D and Mr. Bob (the robots) are our 3D printers. Students use Tinker CAD to design projects to 3D print throughout the school year. 

In addition to our robotic arms, the STEM lab is also equipped with ten Lumas, which are programmable robots, six Ubtech beginner kits, and six Ubtech Intermediate kits for robotic construction and coding.
